Blue-brown mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the tiny, non-penetrating fissures on the wider cross-cut section. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. This sides of this piece were cut under an angle - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is blue-brown.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
