This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the cracks. This piece stems from the core of a mammoth tusk tip. The conical shape reveals the inner structure of a mammoth tusk. In the center the nerve channel is visible. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is a white-beige.
