Brown mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small, non-penetrating fissures. One cross-cut section is thicker and narrower than the other. Reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is brown.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
