Natural mammoth ivory piece

This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the small cracks. One cross-cut section is smaller than the other. Reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is white-brown. The colour of the outer layer of bark is brown.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
