Brown-mustard mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the tiny crack on the thinner cross-cut section. The thinner cross-cut section is also narrower than the other, because one side of this piece was cut at an angle. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is brown-mustard.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
