White-beige mammoth bark

This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small cracks. One cross-cut section is slightly thinner and wider than the other. Reserves on both ends. This piece was cut at an angle - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is white-beige.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
