Green-beige mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid without cracks. One cross-cut section is thicker than the other. Consistent width with plenty of reserves on both ends. This piece is long and narrow for its weight. The colour of the bark is a beautiful green-beige.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
