Natural mammoth ivory scales

This is a top-quality pair of Siberian woolly mammoth bark scales (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid without cracks. One piece is slightly wider and thicker than the other. Consistent length with reserves on both ends. The colour of the bark is white-beige.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
