White mammoth ivory piece

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid and completely dry. There are some small, non-penetrating cracks. One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other. Consistent thickness with plenty of reserves on both ends. The colour of the ivory is white-beige 

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
