Natural mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small cracks. One cross-cut section is thicker than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The colour of the bark is a mix of yellow, orange and creme.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

This multicoloured mammoth bark is not stabilized and / or filled with epoxy. Please note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilized and / or restored unless explicitly stated.
