This is a natural woolly mammoth tusk tip (Mammuthus primigenius) in an immaculate condition. The ivory is rock-solid and completely dry. There are a few tiny, non-penetrating fissures. The colour of the ivory and the outer layer of bark is white.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
