Brown-orange mammoth bark

This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite one small crack on the thinner (and narrower) cross-cut section. Reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is brown-orange.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

This brown-orange mammoth bark is not stabilised and / or filled with resin. Please note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilised and / or restored unless explicitly stated.
