Caramel mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small, non-penetrating cracks on the cross-cut section which was cut at an angle. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is caramel.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
