White mammoth ivory segment

This is an immaculate piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid, completely dry and without cracks. One cross-cut section is slightly larger than the other. Reserves on both ends. The colour of the ivory is white.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

This white mammoth ivory segment is not stabilised and / or filled with epoxy. Please note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilised and / or restored unless explicitly stated.
