Stabilised mammoth bark slab

This is a piece of stabilised mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). This stabilised piece can be cut into scales, drilled, sanded, polished etc. to achieve the desired results. One cross-cut section is slightly thicker than the other. Consistent width with reserves on both ends. The colour of the bark is terracotta.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
