This is an immaculate piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid and completely dry. There are two tiny, non-penetrating cracks on one cross-cut setion. Consistent width and thickness with plenty of reserves on both ends. The colour of the ivory is white.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
