Brown-green mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid without cracks. One cross-cut section is wider than the other, because one side of this piece was cut at an angle. The narrower cross-cut section is thicker than the other. Reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is brown-green.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
