This is a good-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the small crack on one cross-cut section. One cross-cut section is wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. This mammoth bark piece was cut under multiple angles - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is a stunning mix of grey, black and brown.

Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
