Beige mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small cracks. One cross-cut section is wider than the other, because this piece was cut at an angle. Reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is beige.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
