Natural mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite one small crack on the edge of one cross-cut section. Consistent width and thickness with reserves on both ends. The colour of the bark is a mix of brown, beige and green.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

This multicoloured mammoth bark piece is not stabilised and / or filled with resin. Please note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilised and / or restored unless explicitly stated.
