This is a professionally stabilised piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). One cross-cut section is wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The colour of the bark is brown-blue.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
