This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small, non-penetrating cracks. One cross-cut section is thicker and wider than the other. Reserves on both ends. The underside is flat. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is beige-orange.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
