White mammoth ivory segment

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid and completely dry. There are a few tiny, non-penetrating cracks. Consistent width and thickness with reserves on both ends. The edges of this piece were cut at an angle - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is white. 

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
