This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite the crack on the narrower cross-cut section and its side. The wider cross-cut section is thicker than the narrower. Reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is white-brown.
Geological epoch: Pleistocene.
Age: Over 10,000 years.
Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
