Natural mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small, non-penetrating cracks. One cross-cut section is thinner and wider than the other. Reserves on both ends. The end of one side was cut at an angle - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is a mix of brown, caramel and blue.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

This multicoloured mammoth bark is not stabilised and / or filled with resin. Please note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilised and / or restored unless explicitly stated.
