Round mammoth ivory piece

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small cracks. Consistent diameter with plenty of reserves on both ends. The colour of the ivory is white. The colour of the outer layer of bark is brown-orange.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
