Stabilised woolly mammoth bark

This is a professionally stabilised piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). One cross-cut section is thicker and wider than the other. Reserves on both ends. This piece was cut at an angle - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is brown.  

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
