Natural mammoth ivory piece

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid, completely dry and without cracks. There are some tiny, non-penetrating fissures. One cross-cut section is thicker and narrower than the other. Reserves on both ends. Please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the ivory is white. The colour of the outer layer of bark is orange-beige.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
